{"id":298,"date":"2026-03-26T09:18:50","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/sau\/?p=298"},"modified":"2026-03-26T09:23:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T09:23:44","slug":"roles-responsibilities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/roles-responsibilities\/","title":{"rendered":"ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ol style=\"list-style-type:lower-alpha\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure that Social Audit is conducted in every Gram Panchayat once a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that Social Audits are conducted as per the Audit of Scheme Rules, 2011.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare a calendar at the beginning of the year which shall in advance lay out the sequence in which social audit will be conducted across all Gram Panchayats of the State, while ensuring that every Gram Panchayat is audited once a year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide a collective platform such as social audit Gram Sabha for people to express their needs and grievances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote people\u2019s participation in all stages of implementation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthen participation in Gram Sabha (GS), make it inclusive and participatory institution and make it a platform for positive collective action.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Improve capacity of local stake holders who participate in the social audit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop guidelines which shall regulate all activities of recruitment, conduct of social audit, capacity building and training, financing that shall be undertaken by the SAU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build partnerships with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), academics operational in the State to strengthen Social Audits.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build mechanism to review the quality of Social Audits being conducted across the state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with the C&amp;AG for strengthening the implementation of social audit in the State in partnership with the Audit Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with the Ombudsman of the State.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide policy advice to the State Government on how to ensure time bound follow up on grievances and imposing effective punitive action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"off","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"1080","footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-298","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorized"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/298","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=298"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/298\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":299,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/298\/revisions\/299"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=298"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=298"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/webtest.nagaland.gov.in\/sau\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=298"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
