Apparel & Garment Making Center under Ministry of Textile, Government of India

Minister of State for Textiles (I/C), Shri. Santosh Kumar Gangwar, laid the foundation stone for Apparel & Garment Manufacturing Centre at 6^th Mile, Dimapur, Nagaland on 24^th February 2015. The Centre has 3 (three) production units with complete sets of Machineries, Tools and Equipments required for production of Apparels and Garments housed in modern work sheds complete with all amenities of office, store, standby generator and water supply system – A plug and Play facility for local entrepreneurs from the State. The project funded by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. Of India, has the avenue to create 300 jobs for local youths to be trained and employed. 1 (one) Skilling unit and 2 (Two) Production Units have been selected and MOA signed as per guidelines of the Ministry.
