BARISTA TRAINING, BATCH 2

The 2^nd Batch of Barista Training was conducted for coffee lovers and entrepreneurs at the Nagaland Coffee Bar, Directorate of Land Resources from 1^st-5^th November 2022. Altogether 7 trainees successfully completed the course and were issued with a certificate.

PRE-HARVEST TRAINING ON COFFEE

Pre-harvest training on Coffee was conducted at Yahweh Empower Stature Agro Park, Gariphema from 1-4^th November 2022 with Dr. Pieter Vermeulen, Managing Director, Noble Cause Company, Cape Town, South Africa as the Master Trainer. Altogether 30 coffee growers, officers, and staff of the Land Resources Department were trained.

STATE LEVEL TRAINING ON SPRINGSHED MANAGEMENT

State Level Training on Springshed Management was organized by the North Eastern Regional Institute of Water and Land Management (NERIWALM), Tezpur; National Institute of Hydrology (NIH); Central Ground Water Board- NER in collaboration with the Department of Land Resources under PMKSY-WDC 2.0 from 13^th -15^th December 2022 at Conference Hall, SIRD, Kohima. A total of 50 trainees from various Govt. Departments and Organisations attended the training.

INCEPTION MEETING ON SPRINGSHED MANAGEMENT UNDER PMKSY WDC 2.0PROJECTS

State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) in partnership with Advanced Centre for Water Resources Development and Management (AKWADAM) organized a one-day Inception Meeting on Springshed Management Under PMKSY WDC 2.0 projects on 9^th March 2023 at the Conference Hall, Directorate DoLR for officers and staff of Land Resources Department.

ORIENTATION MEETING- ADDITIONAL AREA

For initiating Projects under additional areas of PMKSY-WDC 2.0, an Orientation Meeting was organized for Officers and Staff of Wokha, Zunheboto, Kohima, and Mokokchung Districts of the Land Resources Department on 26^th May 2023.

TRAINING ON FPO FORMATION

To achieve and enhance the production, productivity, and profitability of farmersthrough FPOs, and to initiate FPOs in all the project districts, training on FPO formation was organized on 26^th July 2023 at the Directorate of Land Resources with Mr. Poji, AGM (DD), NABARD as a Resource person.
