Rationalization of Schools

It was felt that, with so much up gradation / opening of new Schools  by Mission mode projects of SSA and RMSA a proper count and rationale of school was felt necessary. As such, the exercise for rationalization of schools was  held from 20/11/2015 to05/02/2016 under the Chairmanship of Shri. Yitachu,  Hon’ble Minister of School Education, Nagaland. The  main focus  of rationalization  was to have a close examination of schools for providing quality education and accessibility. The final number of Government schools after rationalization is presented in the table below:
